Mbarara: One Dead,Several Others Injured In Ntare Road Accident

One person has been confirmed dead in an accident that occurred this morning at Ntare road in Mbarara.

Justine opus –the Rwizi region traffic officer confirmed the accident and identified the deceased as Mujahidu Arinanye, a trader from Isingiro district.

The accident involved a Fuso vehicle registration number UAH 365 R that failed to stop and veered off the road t round 6:00am as it was carrying traders to Nyihanga market.

According to Opus, who attributed the accident to over loading, said that several other people were injured and they were rushed to Mbarara Regional referral hospital for treatment.

Opus thus appeals to motorist to always check their vehicles before embarking on journeys.
