Three injured in separate accidents along Ibanda-Mbarara and Kabarole - Kasese roads

Two people were today seriously injured in a terrible accident that occurred at Mile 2 along Ibanda-Mbarara road.

According to eye witnesses who were at the scene, the two motorcycles , one of them registration number ULD 072Q, were involved in a head-on collision, with one of them bursting into flames.

They explained that the two victims, who were rushed to a health facility only identified as Equator by an ambulance that was passing by, suffered broken bones and fractures bleeding profusely. By press time, police and motorists were still trying to clear the road.

IN A RELATED INCIDENT, Traffic along Kabarole - Kasese road was this morning paralyzed for about two hours following a motor accident that left One person injured and taken to hospital.

Eye witnesses say a truck registration number UAY 845V collided with another, registration number UAM 747 Y at Rwimi Bridge which connects Kabarole to Kasese district there by cutting off the road.

The 6am accident occurred after one of the trucks reportedly failed to brake.
