Police in kabale rounds up over 57 people during a night patrol aimed at rooting out criminals
Police in kabale last night rounded up over 57 people during a night patrol aimed at getting rid of criminals and ensuring security.
The kigezi police spokes person, Elly Maate said that police rounded up 37 males 20 females from kigongi ward, central division, kabale municipality around Bombocha bar, well known as a stage for prostitutes.
While addressing press at kabale police station, Maate said that some of the suspects are serial criminals who have been in cells several times for cases related to theft, house break-ins, smoking marijuana among others , putting people on tension while traveling at night.
Maate added that suspects were found without any documents to identify them and police has kick-started investigations to have them aligned before courts of laws.
