12 family heads in Ibanda arrested over lack of toilets

12 family heads in Kibale Cell Nyamirima ward Bufunda division Ibanda Municipality were today morning arrested over poor sanitation and lack of toilets in their homes.

The Health Inspector of Bufunda and Kagongo, Gerald Yehamye, said the 12 family heads will appear before court.to erect proper toilets but they failed to take heed.

The arrested include; Kyakaroro Ananiya, Mucunguzi Moses, Ngabirano Lawrence, Namanya Edward, Tukundane Alex, Kabazeyo Vicent and many others.

Yehamye called upon all people in Ibanda Municipality to construct toilets and respond to warnings with immediate effect before they are arrested and the law takes its course.
