Mbarara municipality Mayor warns against grabbing Rwobuyenze cemetery land

The Mbarara municipality Mayor, Robert Mugabe Kakyebezi has cautioned locals in Mbarara against grabbing Rwobuyenze cemetery land in Kakiika division.

According to Kakyebezi, there are a number of people who have started to do some developments on the Kenkombe garbage dumping site and Rwobuyenze cemetery.

Last year, Mbarara municipal council passed a resolution to develop Kenkombe garbage dumping site into an Estate.

Now, Kakyebezi says that some people have started building some houses, toilets among other developments like brick making on top of encroaching on part of the cemetery , something he says is very illegal.
