Mahyoro SS Students involved in a car accident

Atleast 20 students of Mahyoro secondary school have been admitted at Ntara health center IV with injuries after they were involved in a car accident this morning.

According to the OC Ntara police station Charles Tahuro, the students who were going for the Copa coca cola district soccer gala games were involved in a car accident towards Omwibale trading centre at the boundary between Ntara and Mahyoro.

According to police, the car registration number UAG 307H in which they were travelling developed a mechanic problem that caused the accident.

Mahyoro secondary school games teacher, Hebert Mwebesa told our reporter that the school will not continue with today's competitions as most of the players have been injured.

Mahyoro ss qualified for semi finals for both football boys, girls and netball and were this morning supposed to have faced off with Kamwenge vocational.

It is yet to be confirmed from the organizers whether the semi-finals and finals will proceed today at Rukunyu playground.
