Kabale-Kisoro road Accident Claims Clinical Officer

Police in Kabale District is investigating circumstances under which a Senior Clinical officer at Kaharo health III was killed in an accident in Rwakaraba along Kabale-Kisoro road.

The deceased has been identified as Victor Ampeire, a resident of Nyamiyaga parish in Bubare sub-county ,Rubanda district.

According to the Officer in Charge of Traffic at Kabale Central Police Station , Andrew Muyambi Kishekye, the accident occurred yesterday evening at around 8:30 pm when a motorcycle registration number UDR 424Y that Ampeire was ridding, heading to Bubare rammed into a motor vehicle region number UAV 012Q that was coming to Kabale town, killing him on spot.

Elly Maate, Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, says they have arrested the vehicle driver Maximu Ahumuza, a resident of Rubanda district to help police with the investigations.
