Ibanda: 23 year old man murders wife, child and lighter commits suicide

Residents of Rwensinga II Nyarukika Parish Rukiri sub-county Ibanda district were today afternoon engulfed with shock and grief after discovering a 23year old man had killed his wife and child before hanging himself in the bed room.

The new Ibanda district police commander, Rodgers Chebenewho led police to the scene has identified the three as Muhumuza Innocent ,23 , whereas his wife was only identified as one Kamiiza 18 .The child who was for another man was proximately one year old.

Rwensinga local council one chairperson, Katatumba Remegio described the incident as unfortunate.

On this note, DPC Chebene Rodgers also condemned the act thus appealing to locals to always to contact authorities in case of misunderstandings in families.

He has pledged to start community sensitization programs in villages as a way of solving family issues.
