Another man In Ibanda commits suicide

Another man in Ibanda has yet again committed suicide.

Kamugasha Yonasani, in his early 30’s, a resident of Kigaigo cell in Nyakatookye, Kagongo division, Ibanda Municipality was this morning found hanging dead, on an Ovacado tree.

It is said that he decided to take his life after getting domestic misunderstandings with his wife who reportedly left him alone.

Burandanire Pulnari, the area local council chairperson says when he heard of the news , he reported the matter to Nyakatookye police post.

According to Area residents, the deceased has left behind 5 children and a wife identified as Nsimenta Federensi.

We caught up with some locals who expressed shock and grief.

Just recently , Residents of Mpiira Street in Bufunda division Ibanda Municipality, were engulfed with shock, after a 24 year old man committed suicide, by hanging.

The officer in charge of criminal investigations, Ibanda police station who led police to the scene, Susan Tumugumye, identified the deceased as Willing Tugume from Omukageti Kiruhura district.

She said, the deceased left behind a hand-written note, consisting his home address.

The note read thus; ”Ninduga Omukageti Kiruhura taata ni Fred Rwabusyagari Kandi Nkazagwa 1994 nafa 2018”.

He was found dead in the house of Senyondo Busingye, at Mpiira Street opposite Jobena Club. However, Sources say, Tugume Willing had come to visit his friend, a son to Busingye Senyondo, but he was unfortunately found hanging dead, on a rope. Further police investigations have been launched.

OCCID Susan Tumugumye further said, the body has been taken to Ruhooko health Center IV for postmortem report, as they wait for family members to claim the body.
