Local leaders in Isingiro want Ugandans to demand for better service delivery

Local leaders in Isingiro district want Ugandans to get ready to demand for better service delivery in exchange for support when the planned referendum is finally approved.

NRM party legislators are moving a referendum to change the term of office for Member of Parliament and local governments from five to seven years, a move Aaron Turahi the NRM chairman for Endiinzi sub-county in Isingiro district describes as positive if it means improved service delivery to the common Ugandans.

According to Turahi, since the referendum is the legal provision, Ugandans will take it in but he wants Ugandans to task their leaders on improved service delivery to improve lives of the people.
