Kabale: 20year old man arrested for defiling a 13 year old girl

IN KABALE DISTRICT; Police is holding a 20year old man, identified as Ian Tubenawe , for allegedly defiling and impregnating a 13 year old primary seven pupil of Bwiraguju primary school in Buhara sub-county.
The suspect, a resident of Nyamigamba village Kanjobe parish Kyanamira sub-county Kabale district is said to have had carnal knowledge with the girl on the 25th February 2018 after seducing her with 2,000 shillings.
According to the victim’s father, Asaph Besigamazima from Muhende village, Kafunjo parish, Buhara Sub County, the suspect seduced his daughter as she returned from school.
The Kigezi region police spokesperson, Elly Maate confirmed the arrest, saying investigations are underway.
