20 year old woman in Ibanda arrested for dumping her baby in a pit latrine

Police in Ibanda district has today arrested a 20 year old woman for allegedly dumping her newly born baby in a 20ft pit latrine.
The Ibanda district OC station in charge of fire rescue and services , Kenneth Wodeya , identified the merciless woman as Dinavence Tusingwire ,a resident of Mirambi 1 ,Rwenkobwa Town Council ,Ibanda district.
According to Wodeya, the baby was today retrieved, but unfortunately, it was already dead.
Wodeya condemns the act thus calling upon the public to often be vigilant and report such incidents, in time.
