Ibanda: Police arrests an 18year old woman, for stabbing a 26 year old man to death

Police in Ibanda is holding an 18year old woman, for allegedly stabbing a 26 year old man, to death.

Micheal Akaturinda , the Ibanda DPC identified the suspect as Ainembabazi Ephrance commonly known as Irene from Nyakatokye in Ibanda, whereas the deceased is Ronald Tumuhimbise , a resident of Kitwe cell in Ibanda.

The DPC however declined to divulge further details surrounding the murder, although he confirmed that, the incident happened in the wee hours of today, at about 3am.

According to sources, while at Mpiira Street near Nomeca bar in the late night, the two developed a misunderstanding that resulted into a scuffle for roasted meat, and later Ainembabazi stabbed Tumuhimbise in the chest, with a knife.

Our reporter who visited the deceased’s home in Kitwe where his body will be laid tomorrow, had a one on one with the father who lamented in shock and called on police to fully investigate.
