The District will be required to provide a coffin with a national flag valued at one point five million shillings and giving the family of the deceased condolence of two million shillings.
The body of the fallen District Councilor shall also ‘lie in state’ in the council Hall in a special council session for councilors to pay tribute, before burial, according to David Bigira the councilor for the elderly ,who moved the motion in the last council sitting.
Meanwhile, the finance planning and administration Committee has tasked the District Executive Committee to acquire titles for all Government land in the District so as to put it to good use and be able collect local revenue.
