Mbarara to get Science Park,Minister Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye reveals
The Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye has said that the government is planning to construct a science technology park in Mbarara that will help science and technology students in western Uganda in research. Dr Tumwesigye revealed this at the launch of the exhibition at Bishop Stuart University Kakoba Mbarara where he stressed that the science park will help science students to put in practice what they learnt by carrying out research. He added that the science park will be used for future development which will make Uganda the first economic growing country in the whole world by 2025. Dr Tumwesigye requested students to protect themselves against the killer diseases like HIV/AIDs and abstain from unprepared sex that may result into unwanted pregnancies. He called upon the students to study hard so that they can get good grades that will make them compete in the global in job market. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
