Kamwenge: Rt Rev Dan Mugisha Zoreka calls for co-operation in East Rwenzori Diocese

The Kyinkyizi Diocesan Bishop in Kanungu, Rt Rev Dan Mugisha Zoreka yesterday called upon the clergy in East Rwenzori Diocese, Kamwenge district to support newly consecrated second Bishop of East Rwenzori Diocese, Rt.Rev George K Turyasingura in developing the diocese.

The man of God disclosed this during a thanksgiving service of Bishop George K Turyasingura , the Bishop of East Rwenzori Diocese in Kamwenge district held at his home in Nyabubare, Busiriba Sub-county.

According to Bishop Zoreka, cooperation is needed as some clergy members hold illegal meetings to Sabotage top leaders’ projects with ill intentions which sometimes affect development.

Addressing Christians who attended the thanks giving ceremony, Bishop George K Turyasingura urged unity and cooperation towards achieving their goals as diocese.

A number of Bishops, religious leaders, Christians and politician witnessed the function.
