Inaugural edition of the FUFA Drum tournament set to kick off Saturday

The inaugural edition of the FUFA Drum tournament is set to kick off tomorrow.

The 16 provinces of Uganda will be involved in the competition.

Busoga and Bugisu will face off in the opening match at Bugembe Stadium in Jinja.

The tournament's final, will be on 6th October, in Kasese district.

The 16 provinces are: Teso, Busoga, Sebei, Bugisu, Lango, Buganda, Acholi, Kigezi, Bukedi, Bunyoro, Kampala, Rwenzori, Karamoja, Ankole, West Nile and Toro.

Security will be beefed up at Bugembe Stadium for the opener, according to Rogers

Byamukama, the chairperson of the Drum organizing committee.

During a prèss conference today, Byamukam also disclosed that, several high profile people are expected tomorrow.
