Bees Sting Three men in Masindi, Rushed to Hospital
Three men are admitted at Masindi General Hospital, after they were yesterday(Thursday) attacked by a swarm of bees near Fill More fuel station in Masindi town.
Silas Basemire, the officer in charge of Masindi Police Station, said the bees first attacked John Baryehitsya, who was walking to Masindi town from Kijura and as other pedestrians tried to help him, the angry bees turned on them as well.
One of them was crime preventer Kabalega and another unidentified man believed to be in his 70s.
Other people managed to flee, but the three victims, were however, stung several times, until they became unconscious.
Speaking to our reporter on his sick bed, 69-year-old Barehitsya said he was walking to town when he came under a fierce attack by the swarm of bees that stung his whole body.
