National Water and Sewerage Cooperation Manager speaks out on the Nyabuhikye water shortage

The National Water and Sewerage Cooperation, Ibanda Branch Manager Catherine Mwerere has revealed plans for Nyabuhikye to receive national water services in the financial year 2018/2019, saying that it was not in financial year 2017/2018 which is being implemented currently, thus calling upon area authorities to visit their office so that they can plan with them and make it faster.

This follows the outcry over water shortage by residents in Nyabuhikye ,Bufunda Division ,Ibanda Municipality who were recently calling upon national water and sewerage cooperation team to extend services in their area for easy access.

She noted that they have been facing challenges in extending water lines through people’s gardens but if authorities approach the office the work will be easily implemented.
