Sheema LCV Chairman Cautions Youth Against Idleness

Authorities in Sheema District are appealing to the young energetic youth to engage in productive ventures by embracing government programs like the Youth livelihood program, Operation Wealth Creation among others in a bid to improve their standards of living.

The Sheema district chairperson, David Kabigumira says most youths have shunned productive ventures like Agricultural production, leaving them to the elderly, which has greatly affected production both at household and national level.

He says the youths have resorted to spending their time in non-productive activities like gambling, alcohol and drug abuse, loitering and gossiping around trading centers.
