The Head teacher of Nyendo Mixed Secondary School in Masaka Municipality is reported to have fled the office after receiving information that the Uganda National Examinations Board had with held some of his student’s 2017 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examination results.

Out of the 48 students that sat for UCE exams at the centre, 30 candidates’ results were withheld which shocked the head teacher, leading to his disappearance from the school.

Sources say after learning that the results were withheld, Wilberforce Kasozi suddenly begun trembling and sweating seriously.

The visibly frightened head teacher, who could not collect himself to attend to members of the press, decided to desert his office and fled the school.

Noordeen Ssenyomo, the school principal tried to find Kasozi in vain as he never answered phone calls made to his known telephone numbers.
