As Schools opens for first term across the country today, low turn up of pupils and students have been witnessed in different schools, of Ibanda district.

Speaking to our reporter after monitoring schools, Ibanda district Inspector of Schools Nsiimire Peter said, it seems some parents have denied children to go to school, today due to lack of scholastic materials to use, the act which he condemned saying that, it contributes to poor performance of children.

Among schools visited are Rwomuhoro p/s, Kabingo, Crain, Kanoni, Mabonwa, St. Timothy, St. Andrews, Mpasha, Kibubura Girls and many others.
