36 year old man commits suicide in Rubanda

Police in Rubanda district is investigating circumstances under which an estranged 36 year old man, committed suicide by hanging.

Kigezi Region police spokes person, Elly Maate confirms that the body of Hebert Turyamureeba, a resident of Rutooma Cell in Hamurwa Sub County in Rubanda district, was this morning found hanging in his sitting room.

Deus Birungyi, a neighbor to the deceased, says Turyamureeba was last seen alive on Friday, explaining that, they were prompted to break into Turyamureeba's house today, after they found the doors and windows locked from inside.

According to police, Turyamureeba could have ended his life, because of domestic wrangles, since it is said that, he had fought with his wife early last week, before he sent her and their three children, away.
