The Agricultural police unit, attached to the Ministry of Agriculture Animal husbandry and Fisheries has warned the sellers of Agricultural inputs in Greater Bushenyi sub-region to stop selling fake and expired farm inputs.

This warning was issued during a sensitization workshop that took place at Bushenyi District Headquarters on Friday, organized by the Agricultural police unit.

Hillary Odoch, the commissioner in charge of the unit further warned them about relying on trading licenses instead of obtaining licenses from the National Drug Authority.

The security agencies led by the District Internal Security Officer and Regional Internal Officer have pledged to arrest all those with veterinary shops and agricultural input shops that don’t meet the required standards.
