Bushenyi : Deputy RDC challenges districts to employ their own residents for petty jobs

Bushenyi Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Damian Turyatunga has challenged all districts country wide to employ their own residents in petty jobs in a bid to fight unemployment. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]

Speaking during the Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipal conference held at the municipal council hall, Turyatunga blamed the high levels of unemployment on districts that employ non residents in minor jobs which could have been given to the residents. He criticized the Chinese who are involved in mining sand in lakes; the work that could have been done by jobless Ugandans. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]

The conference was meant to assess the last 2017-2018 budget and propose the 2018-2019 financial budget. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
