Kisoro: Fear As BusinessMan Goes Missing

Police have mounted a search for 37-year-old Moses Tumwijukye, a businessman hailing from Kisoro district. Tumwijukye, who lives in Butengo cell in Buchimbiri Sub County in Kisoro district, is said to have disappeared on Sunday.

A family member who spoke on condition of anonymity said that Tumwijukye left home on Sunday morning to withdraw cash from his mobile money account in Kisoro town to facilitate the purchase and transportation of Irish potatoes from Rubanda to Kampala. He however, says Tumwijukye didn't return home and they haven't been able to reach him since his mobile phone is unavailable. According to the source, this prompted them to file a case of a missing person with police. Ely Maate, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, says they have since recovered Tumwijukye's Bajaj Boxer motorcycle registration number UEN 522C.
