Bishop Magyezi urges Christians not to focus on ''worldly treasures'', this festive

Christians in North West Ankole diocese, have been advised not to focus much on the 'treasures of the world', as the festive season draws closer.

In his end of year message he delivered today , during a press briefing in his office at St Paul Cathedral, the North West Ankole Diocese , bishop Amos Magyezi, noted that some people in Uganda have continued to nurture greed for material things, thus giving a chance to the evil hand to snatch God’s flock.

Bishop Magezi added that, some Christians have abandoned God’s love, something he says has contributed to rampant corruption, adultery, human sacrifice, witchcraft among other evil deeds.

He advised Christians to instead emulate Jesus Christ by helping the vulnerable and sharing with the needy.
